Kelly & Cameron | Pittsburgh Wedding

As a wedding photographer, I feel so honored to be able to document one of the most important days of people’s lives. I want my couples to have the time of their lives on their wedding day, and while they do that, my goal is to take photos that allow them to relive their wedding day any day. And this is what I wanted for my clients Kelly and Cameron too. The couple’s wedding in Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh, was an amazing experience. It was a beautiful day, with perfect weather and an incredibly romantic couple who celebrated their big day with close friends and family.

Meet Kelly And Cameron

Kelly and Cameron first met during their freshman year of college at Xavier University and hit it off instantly. They love spending time together, and when I asked them about their favorite date night activity, they told me all about their love for trying new cocktails and food.

As a wedding photographer, one of the things I love most is hearing my couples’ love stories. I love hearing about how they met, their first date, and all of the little moments that led up to their proposal. And no matter how personal or grand and extravagant the proposal – I still want all the details. Recalling the proposal, Kelly shared, “Cameron surprised me at my family reunion at Oglebay Park at the fountain where I always took photos with my grandparents.”

Kelly And Cameron’s Pennsylvania Wedding

Kelly and Cameron chose an absolutely beautiful day to get married. I started their wedding photography by documenting their getting ready moments. The bride was wearing a stunning white lace and tulle dress, and the groom looked so handsome in his suit. And while their wedding day attire made them look photo shoot-ready, it was the excitement on their faces that truly lit up the room (and their wedding photos)!

Capturing the love between Kelly and Cameron was an experience I’ll never forget. They were so comfortable and in the moment as they posed for their couples portraits, barely needing any posing cues from me. They radiated happiness and love, and their smiles were so genuine that it was impossible to not smile with them. As soon as I started photographing the couple with the bridesmaids and groomsmen, I knew it was going to be a blast. It was such an amazing group, and they were all so much fun to work with.

The couple’s ceremony was held at the St Bernard Church in Pennsylvania. The church’s altar, with a stunning emerald and golden backdrop and stained glass windows, cast a warm, romantic glow on the couple. I loved that lighting! The ceremony itself was emotional and touching, and the bride and groom were both beaming as they waited to be pronounced husband and wife.

I always love a fun wedding reception, and Kelly and Cameron’s was definitely a joy to photograph. The bride and groom even joined in on the party and had a blast with their guests, which made for some fantastic candid photos. Not only were they enjoying themselves, but they were surrounded by their closest family and friends, who were all also having a great time singing and dancing together.
