Drew And Jacob | Pittsburgh Wedding

Drew and Jacob first met at work and hit it off from then. It was Jacob’s 30th birthday when he proposed to Drew in their garage, surrounded by all of their family and friends – a beautiful moment that they would cherish forever. They love having a good time while dancing and singing along to their favorite songs. Even their favorite date night activity is going to Mario’s By The Water with a live band. Fast forward to their wedding day, and it was no different, except for the fact that they now had rings on their fingers! And as their wedding photographer, I had a great time capturing my couple’s wedding day.

Drew And Jacob’s Pittsburgh Wedding

I started my day photographing the bride and groom as they got ready. Drew and Jacob both looked stunning in their wedding attire and were radiating with the joy and excitement of their big day. Drew had a beautiful first look with her father, and it was so touching to capture the essence of their father-daughter relationship.

Drew and Jacob had a lovely, traditional wedding at the prestigious St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church in Rochester. The historic church, with its soaring ceilings and stained glass windows, made for a perfect setting for the occasion. The church was decorated beautifully, and the altar was adorned with lovely flowers. It was an overall lovely setting for the ceremony, and the room was overflowing with happiness as family and friends witnessed these two amazing people commit their lives to each other. My couple’s love for each other was so genuine and pure, I couldn’t help but smile as I documented their big day.

As a wedding photographer, I’ve seen my fair share of weather-related setbacks. But I have to say my couple and the wedding party were total pros at handling the unexpected rain that day. Hall’s Farm’s sprawling grounds and aesthetic backdrops made it an ideal setting for photos, and so they all posed with umbrellas like it was part of the plan all along. And judging by how much fun they were having, you would never have guessed how bad the weather was.

Drew and Jacob were a dream couple to work with. The couple was truly immersed in the feeling of being newlyweds, and it made for such exquisite portraits. They were totally enjoying every moment, and their romantic portraits depict the feeling of love and happiness radiating from them.

Hall’s Farm was the perfect setting for my couple’s wedding reception. The pavilion was breathtaking and beautifully decorated. Drew and Jacob’s reception was electric – all the guests were drinking, dancing, and partying the night away. And my couples were right there with them, laughing and dancing together like there was no tomorrow. It was an incredible party with tons of dancing, laughter, and love. It was really something special, and I’m so grateful that I was able to capture this amazing celebration of love.
