Tamara and Corbet | Pittsburgh Wedding

As a wedding photographer, it’s always a joy to capture some of the most precious moments of people’s lives. It gives me immense pleasure knowing that my couples can always look back at their wedding day photos and live those moments again – even years down the line. Every wedding has its own unique story, and my job is to ensure that my images tell those stories. I feel so honored when a couple trusts me to capture their wedding day, and I am always so grateful when they love the final results. Seeing the joy on their faces when they see their photos for the first time is truly priceless. So, when Tamara and Corbet contacted me to photograph their big day, I was so excited to capture another love story. They had a stunning traditional wedding in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and their wedding photos turned out amazing.

Meet Tamara and Corbet

Tamara and Corbet met online, and it was love at first chat! They hit it off right away with their awesome personalities, started chatting, and soon realized they had a lot in common. Their love grew quickly, and they decided to get married. Theirs truly is a modern-day love story.

There’s something so incredibly romantic about the moment when two people decide to spend the rest of their lives together. Talking about the proposal, Tamara said, “He told the kids we were going to a new pizza place since they wanted to eat some, and he drove in the January snow to McConnells Mill and proposed in front of the snow-covered bridge and dam!”. Now that’s some brilliant planning and effort, Corbet! A magical winter wonderland proposal with some warm pizzas, wow and YUM!

Corbet’s kids were also with them, and they were so excited, especially his daughter, who immediately called her friends when their dad popped the question to Tamara! Corbet also brought Tamara a canvas picture of the mill that they have hanging in their house.

Tamara and Corbet’s Wedding Day

With their loved ones by their side, Tamara and Corbet’s wedding was a wonderful event. The weather was perfect, with clear blue skies and beautiful lighting. I started their wedding photography by capturing Tamara’s getting ready moments. Her mom was helping her with last-minute touch-ups, and it was so lovely to see their mother-daughter bond.

Their wedding ceremony took place in a beautiful, well-lit church which was perfect for me to shoot some light and airy wedding photos. Tamara, who looked like a vision in white, looked so graceful as she walked down the aisle with her father. And the joy on Corbet’s face when he saw his bride was priceless. After being pronounced husband and wife, the couple sealed their marriage with a sweet kiss.

Tamara and Corbet’s wedding day group photos were some of my favorite shots of the day. Everyone was smiling ear-to-ear, and everyone looked genuinely happy as they celebrated the couple’s marriage. It was clear that Tamara and Corbet are loved by many, and I’m so glad I was able to capture those special moments through my lens. For their wedding reception, Tamara and Corbet decided to make a big entrance – by walking through a wall of bubbles! It was a great way to add some fun and excitement to their photos, and the guests loved it too. Plus, it made for some pretty unique wedding photos.

They had a three-tiered wedding cake decorated with yellow and purple flowers, and their couples portraits were extremely magical. Corbet twirled his wife around, and they looked like they were having the time of their lives – on and off the dance floor.

From the moment my couple saw each other at the altar to their wedding reception, it was clear that these two were madly in love with one another. They embraced each other lovingly and shared so much love and happiness throughout the day. It was truly a privilege to be their photographer.
