Hannah & Max | Twelve Oaks Mansion Pittsburgh Wedding

file-1661464

The best part about my job as a wedding photographer is capturing all the happy memories for my clients as they celebrate their big day with their loved ones. No matter how many weddings I shoot, seeing the love, joy, and excitement on my couple’s faces is something I will never stop cherishing. Working with Hannah and Max was a lovely experience. And calling their wedding at the Twelve Oaks Mansion in Pittsburgh ‘beautiful’ would be an understatement. Here are some glimpses of their picture-perfect big day!

Meet Hannah And Max

Hannah and Max met each other when they were both in grad school. These college sweethearts love going out for delicious dinners and movies. Like every couple, Hannah and Max’s proposal story was something really special. Max proposed to Hannah on the peak of a mountain while they were hiking in Bedford, Pennsylvania. Max, if you are reading this, 10 points for that excellent planning!

Hannah And Max’s Twelve Oaks Mansion Wedding

I had a great time documenting Hannah and Max’s wedding at the Twelve Oaks Mansion. I started the day by taking pictures of the bride and groom getting ready. Hannah looked like a princess in her wedding dress, and the groom looked no less than a prince himself. Their stunning wedding day outfits were, of course, complemented by the wedding day glow on their faces.

I love photographing first looks as they not only capture the emotions in that intimate moment but also bring out little elements of the couple’s relationship in stunning photographs. Hannah had a first look with her bridesmaids and with her husband-to-be. Both those moments were so special and memorable. The bridesmaids were all smiles and in awe of Hannah. And the groom-to-be was speechless when he turned around and saw his bride-to-be.

The venue had lovely backdrops and picturesque gardens, which were great for the couples and wedding party portraits. The sunflower theme wedding decorations were simply gorgeous and added a touch of elegance to the event. Brides and grooms really put in a lot of effort planning every little detail for their big day, and in Hannah and Max’s case, the hard work really showed.

Even the couple’s guests were so amazing and warm! It was clear that they genuinely supported and loved these two. It was a wonderful ceremony, and I loved how my couple was gazing into each other’s eyes and smiling ear-to-ear the entire time. I couldn’t help but smile as I photographed Hannah and Max’s couples portraits. The two of them were so good together, laughing and enjoying their day. Plus, they were so incredible in front of the camera, hardly needing any posing cues from me. They simply danced and smiled as if they had done it a million times before.

The reception was a blast! These people came to party and have a good time, and they were pretty serious about that. From the bride and groom and the wedding party to all the other family members and friends – everyone danced together to mark this new beginning in Hannah and Max’s life.
