Christina And Jack | Kraft Azalea Garden Wedding

Weddings are a special affair where couples pour in their heart and soul to make their big day unique and unforgettable. And as a wedding photographer, my aim is to document all the efforts my couples put into planning their big day. Recently, I had the honor of photographing Christina and Jack’s Kraft Azalea Garden wedding in Winter Park, Florida. The couple opted for a simple yet stylish wedding, and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight to witness and document this wonderful day!

Christina And Jack’s Kraft Azalea Garden Wedding

Christina and Jack decided to tie the knot in a place that felt like a second home, and that was Winter Park for them. And for the kind of wedding they wanted, the Kraft Azalea Garden was perfect! “My dad has lived in Winter Park for 16 years, so when we decided to have our weekend in a place that feels like a second home to Atlanta, we were really inspired and excited to start imagining the details,” shared the bride.

Since it was their second marriage, the couple wanted to keep things simple but still include certain elements that were a reflection of their personalities. Christina shared, “We gave ourselves permission to approach our plans with a lot of simplicity while surrounding certain aspects of the experience for us and for our guests with intention that reflected our personalities and style.”

The couple had a wedding that was different from the norm. They started the day together, taking a long stroll and spending some quality time alone before tying the knot. Later, they got ready together and rode to their wedding venue. Christina looked stunning in her flowy champagne-colored satin dress, with minimalistic makeup and jewelry. Jack looked equally dapper in his navy-blue suit and a matching boutonniere, and the couple complemented each other perfectly.

The couple penned heartfelt letters serving as their vows and read them in private before their wedding ceremony. “I was about ten weeks pregnant during our wedding weekend (which we kept as a secret until after the wedding!), so having that amazing news being something that was just for Jack and I at that moment magnified our vows and the entire wedding experience in dazzling ways,” Christina shared.

Christina and Jack chose the gorgeous Kraft Azalea Park as their venue, the towering colonnade that framed the glorious lake views and the park. To make the occasion even more meaningful and sentimental, Christina’s brother officiated their marriage.

An Evening With Jazz

After being pronounced husband and wife, their loved ones blew bubbles as the newlyweds shared their first kiss. However, the magic didn’t end there. After the ceremony, I got the opportunity to capture some lovely couples portraits with bright blue skies in the backdrop.

To celebrate their big day with everyone, the couple hosted a reception party in Christina’s dad’s backyard. Soulful music from the very talented group of jazz musicians the couple had hired filled the air as the newlyweds soaked in all the love and support that surrounded them.

Christina and Jack also had some wise words of advice for future to-be-weds, “Make sure your bartending team knows how to make a proper classic cocktail (taste their cocktails just as you would for your cake and catering!)”.
