Bethany And Ian | Florida Wedding

What makes working as a wedding photographer inspiring is that every wedding is different. Every couple has their own unique personality and style, which can be seen in the little details of their wedding day. From the choice of wedding dress, venue, decorations, and more, these decisions speak volumes about who they are as a couple. The couples I interact with are always so kind and welcoming, making me want to give them my best, and this couple was no exception. Bethany and Ian had a wonderful Florida wedding surrounded by their friends and family and their wedding planning was absolutely spectacular. Here’s a glimpse of Bethany and Ian’s wedding.

Bethany And Ian’s Florida Wedding

Bethany and Ian’s getting-ready moments were so sweet. Bethany’s mom helped her with her wedding dress and made sure that her daughter looked perfect before walking down the aisle. As a token of love, Bethany’s mom made a little bow out of the fabric from her own wedding dress and tied it onto Bethany’s bouquet. It was such an intimate and sweet gesture. Meanwhile, Ian got dressed in another room with his groomsmen who helped him tie his bow tie. Bethany also had a small surprise in store for Ian before the ceremony. Since he had given her an infinity sign necklace on their one-year anniversary, she too gave him infinity sign cufflinks as a wedding gift. So thoughtful and creative!

Bethany looked like a princess in her gorgeous wedding dress, with her hair styled in loose curls. She was so calm and confident, smiling and glowing in every image. And Ian looked every inch the dashing groom in his crisp black tux. Ian and Bethany chose a picturesque spot for their outdoor wedding ceremony on their venue’s lush grounds. The area overlooked the deep blue ocean and was surrounded by palm trees. The weather was great with the warm glow of the sun casting a magical spell for their romantic wedding.

Ian and Bethany’s wedding decor was extraordinary, with their wedding altar decorated with pampas grass, and flowers, it was truly a sight to behold! The couple’s wedding ceremony was so meaningful. Ian and Bethany said “I do” in front of all their friends and family and sealed their marriage with a sweet kiss. As they walked out, Ian dramatically dipped Bethany and kissed her passionately. SO ADORABLE! Their love radiated throughout the day and their wedding pictures just say it all.

After the ceremony, I had the chance to whisk the newlyweds away for a few photos of just the two of them. We discovered some amazing places for some perfect “just married” shots. Ian and Bethany walked along the beach and the gentle sea breeze gave an extra touch of drama and romance to their wedding pictures.

Ian and Bethany’s reception had all the same attention to detail as the rest of the wedding. The newlyweds had their first dance as husband and wife and swayed gracefully to the music with so much love and affection for one another. However, there was a tiny accident! A centerpiece caught on fire but was quickly extinguished before more damage could be done – all thanks to the DJ for being the superhero! As the night continued, the reception was filled with laughter and joy (despite the mishap) as family and friends celebrated Ian and Bethany’s new beginning. The couple also had a fun sparkler exit with everyone seeing them off before they headed out in their fancy car.

Ian And Bethany’s Testimonial

As a wedding photographer (and part of my services), I always ask my couples a few questions about their wedding day highlights, and also what they would do differently looking back on their wedding. Bethany said, “I think I would hire a wedding planner if I had to do it all again, just to take some of the stress off my mother and my mother-in-law.”

Talking about her overall experience, Bethany told me, “The video videographer was very calm and collected and helped set a really good tone for the day. And obviously our photographer! We LOVE the sneak peek pictures and are so excited to see the full album!” She also had some advice to give future brides, stating “Don’t stress the small details and try to live in the moment.”
