For me, weddings are one of the most remarkable and magical events ever. Being a wedding photographer, I get to be a part of my couple’s big day and freeze those beautiful moments in time. It’s like front-row seats to the purest form of love, and it just warms my heart. Let’s talk about Meryl and Jimmy’s wedding – it ticked all the boxes of an elegant and modern wedding. They chose to get married at the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh, and the day was a perfect blend of magic and joy. Come and take a peek at their extraordinary celebration.

Meryl and Jimmy said, “I do,” at Pittsburgh’s famous Carnegie Science Center. With floor-to-ceiling windows, stunning views of the city skyline, and incredible ambient lighting, the modern space is a perfect choice for those who want to tie the knot in style. It’s a one-stop shop that offers everything for everyone!

I began Jimmy and Meryl’s wedding photography by capturing their getting-ready moments. Meryl was beaming with happiness, clinking glasses with her bridesmaids, and having a grand ol’ time with celebratory drinks. And when she slipped into her wedding dress – wow! She looked stunning. And you know what was super sweet? Meryl’s first look with her bridesmaids. Their expressions were priceless, full of love and happiness as they stood together for Jimmy and Meryl’s special day.

Jimmy and his groomsmen had a blast getting ready in their room. But before the ceremony, Jimmy and Meryl shared a private first look. It was a precious moment, just between them, before the day’s excitement would unfold. Dressed in a dashing black suit, Jimmy stood tall, waiting for Meryl to tap his shoulder. And when he turned to see his beautiful bride, he just scooped her up in his arms and planted the sweetest kiss on her. My heart just melted capturing the adorable gesture that spoke volumes about their love for each other.

Meryl was a vision in her wedding dress, and her beaded veil added that extra sparkle to her attire. When they exchanged vows and rings, it was official – they were husband and wife. But here’s the best part: when they walked down the aisle, Jimmy pulled off this epic dip and gave Meryl the most passionate kiss ever. My heart skipped a beat and I could feel the love and excitement in the air. They were on cloud nine, and it was just AMAZING!

After the ceremony, Meryl and Jimmy and their wedding party headed outdoors for group and couples portraits. The weather was lovely, and I got great shots of everyone by the river. The wedding party was super fun and sweet, making my job easy. We decided to walk outside the venue for their couples portraits and made the most out of the city views in the backdrop. Meryl and Jimmy held hands, embraced each other, shared kisses, and had the biggest smiles.

The wedding reception was just perfect, filled with heartwarming moments. When it was time for their first dance, Jimmy and Meryl glided across the dance floor, totally in sync with the music. And can we talk about their stunning three-tier white wedding cake adorned with beautiful flowers – it was a sight to behold. As the evening rolled on, everyone hit the dance floor, celebrating the newlyweds happily ever after.

The lovebirds also shared heartwarming details from their wedding, such as exchanging private letters in the morning before the ceremony and having a private first look. One memory that stood out for Meryl was her father performing “Danny’s Song” by Loggins & Messina alongside her brother-in-law.
