Lauren and Paul chose to get married at the Southpointe Golf Club in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. And their choice was spot on. The bride and groom themselves have an impeccable sense of style, and it was also evident by their choice of location and wedding attire! The sweet couple had a magnificent outdoor wedding ceremony, and their reception had elegant details, gorgeous florals, and decor, which livened up the place. The weather was ideal, and the couple looked so in love. Paul and Lauren, if you are reading this, I hope I was able to successfully bring alive your wedding photography vision.
Meet The Couple
One of the things I always do with my clients is make the effort to get to know them better. It’s so much fun to listen to their love stories, and I like to know every detail about how they met, what they like doing together, and even the proposal story. This helps me understand what they like and builds a special bond between us.
Lauren and Paul have a classic college love story. The lovebirds met each other in college and have been inseparable ever since. After dating for a while, Paul proposed to Lauren on St. Patrick’s Day. Lauren said, “He proposed on St Patrick’s Day, and we had a small family gathering. I’m very Irish!”
When I asked Lauren and Paul about their personality as a couple, they said, “We are light-hearted, easy-going, social, and we are truly best friends”. There’s something so special about marrying your best friend, someone who you can confide in and who knows you inside out.
Paul and Lauren’s Wedding Day
Lauren was the sweetest bride I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. She looked so relaxed and happy as she got ready for her big day with her bridesmaids by her side. Her bridesmaids were also absolutely stunning, and they did an amazing job of helping her look her best. While Paul was getting ready with his groomsmen, I could tell that he was truly enjoying himself. They were all laughing and joking, and it was clear that Paul was surrounded by the people he loved most in the world, and they were all excited to celebrate his wedding day.
Lauren also had a surprise wedding gift for Paul. His reaction as he opened his wedding gift was priceless, and I’m so glad I got that chance to document it. Paul’s reaction spoke volumes about how well Lauren knew him. The couple had an intimate first look and Paul was blown away as he turned around and saw his bride for the first time. Paul lovingly embraced Lauren and twirled her around. It’s safe to say that this first look was picture-perfect. I could tell that these two were absolutely crazy about each other, and I’m so glad I was able to capture this sweet moment between them.
Lauren and Paul’s wedding ceremony was held outdoors at the Southpointe Golf Club. The weather was perfect, with clear blue skies, and the golden rays of the sun added to the beauty of their wedding photos. The bride and groom looked at each other with so much love and watching them smile and laugh during their ceremony was such a lovely sight. It was a beautiful ceremony, made all the more special by the fact that it was held in the great outdoors.
I had an amazing time photographing Lauren and Paul’s wedding. The venue offered breathtaking backdrops, and the couple had so much fun during their group and couple portraits session. The best part was that I didn’t have to worry about posing them. They just did their thing, and we were able to get some pretty wonderful photos of the newly married couple just being themselves.
As Lauren and Paul entered the room, everyone cheered and clapped for them. Their wedding cake was exquisite – a four-tier creation decorated with fresh flowers and golden dust. They also planned on having sparklers outside that created a magical atmosphere. Lauren and Paul’s wedding was a true testament of the love and friendship that they share. They were constantly smiling and laughing together, and their guests were truly enjoying themselves. It was such a special day to witness two best friends marry each other.
