Documenting Taylor and Decker’s Pittsburgh wedding was such an incredible experience for me. My lovely couple has this extraordinary connection and an authenticity that can only come from two souls who know each other inside out. What I will remember most from the day was the love and excitement that flowed throughout the day. Everybody was so amazing, and it was evident that Taylor and Decker were very important to so many people.
Taylor And Decker’s Love-Filled Pittsburgh Wedding
Taylor and Decker went all-out and had a wedding party of fourteen people! Taylor made all seven of her sisters her maid of honor, junior bridesmaids, and flower girls – that’s a lot of love right there! And as soon as I met all of these wonderful people, I knew Decker and Taylor’s wedding was going to be a one-of-a-kind event – and it truly was! Taylor completed her look by wearing a pair of earrings that belonged to her mom, which added such a sentimental touch to her already stunning bridal look.
Besides having a first look with her father, one of the most heartwarming moments was when Taylor and her sisters huddled together in a circle before the ceremony. They all bowed their heads to pray, and it was one of the most intimate moments. Sisters are like the ultimate best friends, right? And that’s exactly what these girls meant to each other.
Decker and Taylor’s wedding ceremony took place in a beautiful church, and so many people were present to witness and support them on their journey of love and togetherness. Taylor looked like an absolute vision in her wedding dress, while Decker rocked a classic black bowtie with a delicate boutonniere pinned on his coat. The couple kept a few things traditional, like the first look, which they had during the ceremony. As Taylor made her grand entrance, Decker’s face lit up, and he had the most sweetest reaction! As the ceremony continued, Taylor and Decker exchanged vows and sealed their marriage with a kiss.
More Portraits And A Fun Evening
After the ceremony, I whisked away the newlyweds for their couples portraits. We headed outdoors and got some gorgeous “just married” wedding photos. The beautiful natural light set the perfect mood for the scene – warm, natural, and incredibly romantic. Taylor and Decker’s gleeful energy radiated through each photograph I took of them, and I couldn’t help but smile seeing how truly full of life these two were. I also got some amazing group shots of the bride and groom with their wedding party and loved ones, respectively.
Decker and Taylor’s reception decor was simple yet enchanting! Each table was adorned with elegant linens, polished cutlery, and candles. But the dessert table, stacked with cookies, made it even more awesome! They looked so delicious! Decker and Taylor walked hand-in-hand and were delighted to be husband and wife (finally!). Soon, it was time for the first dance. The newlyweds had a rollicking time on the dance floor, and the reception was a whirlwind of laughter and joy. A memory that stands out from their wedding day was a true movie moment. They drove away in a thunderstorm with their friends and family cheering and chasing their car!
The Newlywed’s Wedding Experience
When I asked them about their favorite part of planning the wedding, they agreed that it was all about the end result. Experiencing the day they had meticulously planned with the people they love was incredibly rewarding. Their driving force throughout the planning process was simple but beautiful – they wanted to start their life together. It’s such a sweet reason to tie the knot.
When it came to doing things differently, Taylor and Decker had one hilarious regret – they wish they had told people to eat more cookies! I mean, who can resist cookies, right? Speaking of vendors, Medure’s catering really stood out for them. Even though it was a buffet-style dinner, they kept the guests moving along promptly, and their kindness was truly memorable. And, of course, the food was amazing.
For all you future brides out there, Taylor has some wise advice to share. She suggests spending some alone time on the morning of your wedding. Taylor herself took a calming walk through her childhood neighborhood, which helped her stay centered amidst all the emotions of the day. So, remember to find your own peaceful moment on your big day!
