Elizabeth and Jeremy | Pittsburgh Wedding

Full of so many special moments, weddings are unforgettable events – not just for couples, but for wedding photographers too. That’s what I love about being a wedding photographer. I get to capture all those precious memories for couples and their families to cherish forever. Elizabeth and Jeremy’s wedding was full of fun, laughter, and good times. From the moment I arrived, I could feel the love in the air and the fantastic energy all around. The bride was radiant, the groom was beaming, and everyone was there to celebrate and support the union of this lovely couple.

Meet Elizabeth and Jeremy

One of the greatest things about being a wedding photographer is the different love stories I get to hear! Just like no two weddings are alike, each love story includes something unique. And as always, I was looking forward to learning more about Elizabeth and Jeremy.

The lovebirds met each other at Jeremy’s brother’s wedding, and it was love at first sight. From that moment on, they were inseparable. Their families went to the same church when they were younger, so they knew of each other through their congregation. After the wedding, they went on a few dates but really hit it off when they both moved back to Pittsburgh. They love trying new restaurants, golfing, and some fun activities.

Talking about the proposal, Elizabeth told me, “He proposed to me on Mt. Washington! He planned this whole special day, took me out to a nice dinner, and then hired a photographer to capture the whole proposal.” Jeremy, if you are reading this, hats off to you! Only the best planners can pull off a proposal so special and romantic!

Elizabeth and Jeremy’s Wedding Day

The getting ready moments are just as important as the wedding ceremony and reception. From the excitement of getting dressed to the anxiousness of seeing your better half for the first time, these are the moments that make up a wedding day story.

Both Elizabeth and Jeremy were so laid back on their wedding day. Stress and fuss-free, they are definitely one of the most easy-going couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with. After some bridesmaids and groomsmen portraits, it was time to dress up and get married! Elizabeth’s mother helped with the final touches, and she looked stunning in her wedding dress that also featured a gorgeous train. On the other hand, Jeremy’s father proudly fixed his son’s tie as he was about to head out for the first look with his bride.

Elizabeth decided on having two first looks. The first was with her father, who was absolutely thrilled to see his daughter, and the second was with Jeremy. When he saw Elizabeth for the first time in her wedding dress, he was overcome with emotion and happiness. The two of them shared some personal vows that they had written for each other, and it was a special moment to capture.

Jeremy and Elizabeth’s wedding was a wonderful outdoor affair. The weather was ideal, and the lighting was flawless. The surrounding vast green fields were the perfect addition to the couple’s wedding photos. As they were pronounced husband and wife, the couple sealed their marriage with a sweet kiss.

Their reception was full of love and laughter, and the dance floor was packed! The father-daughter dance was especially heartwarming as Elizabeth’s father twirled her around. Jeremy, too, got emotional and hugged his mother as they danced. The best part of the wedding was the sparkler exit. The result was a spectacular display of light and color, which made for some truly magical photographs.
