What a day it was with Michelle and David! I had the absolute honor of capturing their Florida wedding – a perfect blend of tradition and modern flair. The couple had clearly put their heart and soul into its planning, and it showed along with their creative skills of warding off the tiniest to the mightiest of unforeseen circumstances on the day, like absolute pros! I was impressed! Even more when they mentioned that their favorite part of wedding planning was “Designing the reception and choosing the flowers. And knowing that at the end of your process, you’d get to spend the rest of your life with the love of your life.” From the heartwarming traditional union to the infectious energy at the reception, I had a blast capturing it all!

It was impossible not to be swept up in the excitement that filled the air. And let me just say that Michelle looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress! The love and bond she shares with her bridesmaids were beautifully showcased during their heartfelt first look.
Michelle and David had a traditional ceremony that was beautiful and heartwarming. The indoor setup was simply breathtaking, with the decor, especially the florals, adding a touch of elegance to the entire affair. Surrounded by the love and blessings of their close family and friends, Michelle and David exchanged vows, sealing their promise of forever together.
If there’s one word to describe Michelle and David’s reception, it’s “unforgettable.” The evening was filled with cherished traditions, and I had the honor of capturing the sheer excitement and joy that filled the air. From the lively bouquet toss to the cake cutting – a true masterpiece with the couple’s initials elegantly displayed – every moment was infused with love and energy.
One of the highlights of the evening was witnessing Michelle and David’s first dance as a married couple – everyone was mesmerized. We also took some time to capture portraits of the newlyweds outdoors, and the result was pure magic. Their wonderful connection and effortless chemistry made my job a breeze! As the evening unfolded, the dance floor came alive with the vibrant energy of all the guests, celebrating the wonderful love story of Michelle and David with every beat!

I love asking my couples about their favorite moments from their big day! For Michelle and David, they both agree that standing at the altar was the highlight of their special day. But it wasn’t just their vows that made the moment so perfect; it was when they washed each other’s feet. It was an intimate gesture that showed their love and commitment to one another.
Looking back, they mentioned a few things they might have done differently, but one thing they stressed was the importance of letting go of perfection and just enjoying the day as it unfolds. To future brides, Michelle has the best message for you, “As you get closer and closer to your wedding day, the best thing for you to make the decision in your mind that everything will go the way it is supposed to. Things may not go your way, but it will all be okay.”

They said, “Our photographer, Kayla Milroy, really went above and beyond to get our pictures done in an orderly way. With the change of having to do our wedding ceremony inside, she helped us capture as many photos as possible and make the best of our situation.” Michelle added, “Farm Nine did a fabulous job with the flowers and really brought my vision board to life. Bronze & Glow was amazing; my hair and makeup looked amazing while not making me look fake or having too much makeup on.”
