There is nothing I love more than capturing the many precious yet fleeting moments on a couple’s wedding day. It’s a time full of joy and excitement and just being in the rooms photographing their timeless memories is simply amazing. From the getting ready moments to the ceremony and after-party, the whole experience of seeing everyone laughing (and sometimes even happy crying) makes it an absolute joy to document. And let’s face it, my cheerful and lovely couples really make my job THE BEST there is! Briana and Jeffrey definitely were one of those couples. Their wedding at River’s Casino was a mixture of traditional sentiments and a whole lot of fun and dancing. I had a blast capturing their happy moments.
Meet The Couple
As a wedding photographer, I always make sure to ask my couples about how they met, their first date, who proposed first, and what they like doing together. It’s so sweet to hear about all of the different ways that people have found love. Briana and Jeffrey are the modern-day definition of ‘love’. It was love at first swipe for the both of them as they met on the dating app Bumble. And it wasn’t love before they were ready to take their relationship to the next level!
Talking about the proposal, Briana told me “He took me to the West End Overlook – this is where he asked me to be his girlfriend years ago. This was during COVID and he was able to convince my friends from out of town to come in special for it!”. Hearing their story makes me believe that love makes you go above and beyond (even if there are COVID restrictions) for the one you truly love.
Briana and Jeffrey also shared with me that, from the very beginning, they have been each other’s best friends. So, whether they are exploring restaurants in Pittsburgh or reading together on the couch on a Saturday, the most important part is that they love being together. And look at them now! Ready to vow to be with one another forever.
Briana And Jeffrey’s Wedding At Rivers Casino
It was an absolute pleasure to capture the special moments leading up to Briana and Jeffrey’s wedding day. The bridal suite was full of laughter and giggles as Briana got ready with her bridesmaids. Briana looked radiant and her bridesmaids were so sweet, helping her get dressed and look her best! It was such an incredible atmosphere full of love and anticipation.
Briana and Jeffrey got married at the beautiful St. Sebastian Catholic Church. Ready to begin their new life together, Briana walked down the aisle in a stunning princess-like wedding dress, with a vibrant bouquet of fresh flowers in her hand. Meanwhile, Jeffrey stood at the altar admiring her beauty and waiting to marry the love of his life. The brightly colored stained glass windows in the church made for the perfect backdrop for their wedding ceremony photos. Capturing their marriage through my lens was unforgettable. In some ways, it almost felt like the entire church played tribute to Briana and Jeffrey’s one-of-a-kind love.
Briana and Jeffrey’s wedding was all about good times and smiles! Everyone was so easy to work with in front of the camera. My favorite photos from their wedding day have to be when they popped some champagne and enjoyed the spray – their faces were so full of joy. And the paww-dorable moments I was able to capture of them with their dog, who was all decked out in a tiny suit, were priceless! Their love radiated in every photo and it was such a special day.
Briana and Jeffrey’s wedding reception was a night to remember. As they walked into the room, they were greeted by their family and friends who were cheering them on. The lighting in the room was spectacular and set the tone for a romantic evening. The tables were decorated with breathtaking floral centerpieces, and the couple also served signature cocktails in honor of their pupper! As the celebrations continued, Briana and Jeffrey had their first dance as husband and wife and shared a sweet kiss after cutting their cake. The entire room was abuzz with excitement and the dance floor was packed with DJ Thomas Walter mixing the tunes.
